Brigit Moynihan
 

Brigit took her first yoga teacher training with Don and Amba Stapleton of Nosara Yoga at the Omega Institute in 2000 and has been teaching and continuing her education ever since. She returned to Omega in 2005 for the Nosara Yoga Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. In 2013, she traveled to Nosara Yoga Institute’s original home in Nosara, Costa Rica, for Pranassage™ Teacher Training. Pranassage™ is a set sequence of assisted yoga poses developed by Amba Stapleton, combining yoga, Thai massage, and other modalities. This training offered her a deep dive into the chakras, the energy systems of the body, how prana (life force) circulates within us, and the energetics of asana. Brigit's love for energy medicine expanded further when she obtained her Reiki 1 certification in February 2024 from Jennifer Mulak of Cosmic Mother™.

Over the years, Brigit witnessed how this ancient science adapts to and benefits everyone willing to explore it. She facilitates a practice that is both grounding and empowering through an artful progression of yoga asana, breath, sound, and meditation.

Brigit creates a container where each student can regulate, drop into the present moment, and experience their vital life force energy (prana). Her knowledge of alignment and her trained eye help guide students into poses in a way that allows them to access true ease and grace. She shares her knowledge with joy, clarity, and compassion, finishing each class with a deep relaxation to integrate the practice on every level of being. Brigit teaches from a place of deep passion, drawn from decades of personal experience and from witnessing countless transformations yoga has brought to others.
